Newspaper Collages

The black and white collages were created using newspaper headlines taken from online media sources. The composition of the headlines together make the overall appearance feel overwhelming with information.
The colourful collages are copies of the original however, certain words or sentences have been covered with a different colour paint. The colours of paint represent each social media platform, Instagram is the colour pink, Facebook is blue, Twitter is green and Snapchat is yellow. The singular words covered in paint are there to show how much of the overall text is consumed by these words. The other collage, the sentence containing the social media platform being blocked out, exposes the platform as the only word present, leaving the audience unaware of the message.
