For this live project, I had the opportunity to perform a deceptive piece in front of an audience. The Artslab in the 1000 Trades building is a small space, that was transformed into an area for individuals to perform, display and talk about their chosen subject. The evening was filled with storytelling, visual presentations, videos and magic. The event was named, 'A Night of Deception and Lies' due to the module we were studying at the time being called 'Art and Deception'. The deceptive component of the night based upon what those included chose to do, either was found out towards the end or it remained a mystery throughout the evening. 

I wanted to try a different approach to this project, performing using words. Deceptive words. The way I had written this two minute piece was to allow the audience to truly think about the effects of social media and to allow them to understand how they perceive themselves and others.
